Hi
Could you please tell me what performance % you need to earn a star? I think it may vary depending on how many stars you have for each song.
Also how do you gauge the performance played for each song? Thank you

Re: Earning Stars
In order to earn stars, you need to play a song in "Performance Mode". It is the final segment of all songs purchased from the store. You can earn up to 3 stars per song. Score 80% or more to earn a star!

That´s what I thought. I´ve noticed that I will sometimes obtain higher than 80% in performance mode but not obtain a star What would be the reason for this?

Re: Earning Stars
Ok. That is good to know. It is only possible for you to gain 1 more star, for a final total of 3.
Let me explain...
So let's say you played the song and gained 1 star, then 2, then 1 again. You do not accumulate 4 total stars. The program only recognizes the highest value awarded. In this particular instance, after the first time you gain 1 star, then you gain another star with the second. After the third time, you do not gain anything because you already received 2 stars. The only opportunity to gain another star is when you hit 3.
Let me know if that makes sense!

Re: Earning Stars
Thank you for explaining but you haven´t really addressed my question.
I understand you only get three stars for a song.
My question is what % accuracy do you require to receive a star? I don´t see any consistency with how I receive stars between songs. I am always playing intermediate easy.
Also I don´t understand how you grade time points and performance points.
A few examples of songs I´ve played recently:
eg: Stay with Me (Intermediate easy) I received my first star with 63% accuracy. 13 time points, 168 performance points.
eg2: Corpse Bride (intermediate easy). I already have 2 stars. I then played and received 90% accuracy but I didn´t receive a 3rd star. 8 time points, 0 performance points
eg3: Girl Crush (intermediate easy). I have 2 stars already then played and received 83%. I didn´t receive a 3rd star. 13 time points and 0 performance points
I look forward to your reply
