Re: Original Scores?
Honestly, if you aren't abandoning PGS sometime in your learning (sooner for some, much later for others), then you aren't learning piano, you're just playing a video game. PGS does a great job of giving you a foundation, but if you want to play something besides what PGS offers, which is what you'r...

Re: Show what songs I've already purchased in the store
These two responses made me :) I've been "tricked" so to speak by companies that "allow" me to purchase something I've already bought. Thank goodness Amazon.com doesn't let me do this with E-books, or I'd have a whole slew of doubles in my library. While we may have some commentary about things that...

Re: Rookie to Intermediate
I would add that down the road, you may want to play a song outside of Playground, and if you find music for it, the music may be tough to learn at first because it's too difficult. I've always bought all versions of Playground songs, and eventually you start to see the pattern that Andrew mentions,...

Re: Add daily scales practice
No matter what the team decides, thank you, Andrew, for being here to address the issues. It's very much appreciated.

Re: Add daily scales practice
I consider the "surprise" aspect of this annoying and a little condescending. I've unlocked two courses but have no way of knowing how many more are available or what I need to do to unlock them. Consequently I have no way of knowing how best to direct my practice to suit my own personal goals. One...

Re: Import of MXL files
@Russ1409, what is the program you're using? I'm using Sibelius currently to play contents of Music XML files. Unfortunately it doesn't validate how I play either. I've tried about all of them, including Sibelius, trying to come close to replicating PGS with imported music. None of them work partic...

Re: Import of MXL files
I was wondering, what did the team have to say about this? I was wondering, because I use a program to do this (it isn't really designed for validation, like PGS) and it doesn't work well. But I suspect the PGS team is much better than the developers of the other program. I'm just curious what their...

Re: Frustrated by timing problems and not being able to move on in program
Trying to use the cursor as your exact timing guide is not the way to go. Worst of all, you can get dependent on it and may have a hard job transitioning to paper music. Yes to this a hundred times over. It's easy to get caught up in the PGS interface, because it's so good, and forget that the fina...
