Re: is this way better for some

I think teachers are excellent and if you have one you like, talk to them about Playground Sessions. There is a Teacher program that Playground Sessions is offering. They can incorporate the app into their lessons. On the other hand, Playground Sessions is right there 24x7 for your aid. I practice a...

Re: More song arrangements

You can go here: https://playgroundsessions.uservoice.co ... g-requests

This will allow you to make specific song requests and to see what has been requested and vote on the ones you'd like to see.

Re: Learning by reading notes not numbers

I just started the lesson ytd and have the same confusion, as I always tend to look at the numbering instead of the note itself. So I think I should turn of the number system right away so as to force me to read the notes instead. Try playing the lessons once or twice with the numbers on to get the...

Re: Hello from HK!

The best recommendation is that you find a system that works for you. The PX-160 will do the job.

The PX-160 has the important features. 88 Weighted piano keys with touch sensitivity, and a USB port to connect to your computer or tablet.

Re: Let's vote for "Mariage d'amour"

I'd consider posts like this "Engaging The Community" so probably perfectly fine. Especially helpful for people that forget there is a place to vote on songs they'd like to see, or even suggest new songs. I'm not familiar with "Mariage d'amour" - at least not by name. I'm sure I've heard it before. ...

Re: How to progress through the bootcamp?

Hi Michael. I practice each lesson using all the tools available. First is to play the lesson a few times with the finger numbers on, to get my hands where they need to go. Then with the Letters displayed to reinforce which notes I am playing. Again, just a few times. Then I play the lesson the "res...

Potentially by using the Damper Pedal. Perhaps an arranger can chime in with their solution.

Re: Missing Stars

If you look at your total or overall statistics, does it have the correct number stars? Mine shows 24 stars based on 8 three star songs. But I do have some songs that don't show their star status on the song icon. It is a glitch that the current rewrite of the software is expected to solve. Maybe.

Re: Prevent a lesson from being marked as completed when it's being played at half speed

Interesting idea Juan. I would expect that the user would see their percent correct, still, so they know where they are going wrong other than playing slowly. It really helps playing to 100% regardless of tempo, so like we currently see a "Time Points" and a "Performance Points" on the points given,...

Re: Hello from CT

Welcome Steven. You've joined a group of people with exactly the same interest. Well, maybe not the Rhythm and Blues part, but the play piano, read sheet music and learn about other genres. You are in good company. Some of the advice i've given on the Facebook community page is: 1 - Use all the tool...
