Go ahead and practice a few more times with the numbers on. You are not required to turn them off as fast as you can. Eventually you want to play without numbers, but if you have to have them, they're there for your use. Maybe even alternate, one set on, one set off. See if that helps. I'll have go ...

I like your solution, Laureness. Interestingly, my chime does go to the headphones. I didn't do anything that I know of to send it there.

Re: Notes and fingering numbers

What I would do, if I were starting Rookie Boot Camp again is to start each lesson exercise with numbers on and get the feel for where they go. Re: Advanced Settings Question

I took a look. I don't know the specifics of what the sliders do. I'm going to guess they adjust away from 'standard' what the system uses to detect if you played the note correctly (looking like timing settings). You could play with the to see what they do and use the reset to default if you don't ...

Re: Hello from the Blue Mountains in Australia

One additional thought, there are passive mixers that might be less expensive. But I'm not as familiar with those.

Re: Hello from the Blue Mountains in Australia

My current mixer is a Yamaha MG10XU. I was using a Behringer XENYX802. The Behringer was perfect for just mixing the audio from the computer and the piano. If your piano has an AUX IN port you can plug the output of the computer there. My previous piano had no AUX IN. I used the headphone out from b...

Re: Is there a way of getting rid of the moving line?

A quick way to deal with the bar might be to set it to the background color for a nearly invisible moving bar. It will still need some coding to make the color of the bar a toggle, but it would be less than for removing the bar altogether.
