Re: Greetings from North Carolina!

Hi Kadoyle01! If you read the FAQ and drop into the Help Center you will see a lot of topics to various aspects of Playground Sessions (it isn't immediately obvious there is more to the FAQ than the initial list of questions - it took me a while to find the rest). I found this though: https://suppor...

Re: Sound and Video out of Sync on iMac?

I don't think it is a common problem. I have Playground Running on a relatively low powered setup that syncs up fine. I am not on a Mac, however. There are a lot of people using Macs regularly though and they seem to be fine. I doubt, however, the the problem is unique to you. iPad uses sometimes ha...

Re: [HELP] Should I memorize songs?

Hello Dondurma, welcome to Playground Sessions! So the boot camp or tour lessons do tend to build on the previous lessons to a large degree. I would go ahead and work those in the listed order. There is some thought into how the songs and lessons are broken down into exercises that you can study to ...

Re: Final Review 85

The name of the program is a good clue. It's Playground sessions. Explore! The boot camps (or tours) really are organized in a sequential fashion that builds upon previous lessons. The courses that have unlocked, however are not dependant on each other, at least not entirely. The 50 famous melodies ...

Re: Right way to pivot hand while playing full scale?

The first thought to keep in mind is there is no absolute right place to pivot. There are relative right places, though. Move your hand when you can't get to the next set of notes easily - yeah, not helpful, I know, but it is the context the rest of my advice will be within. Because everyone's hands...

Re: Rookie lesssons - some assumed knowledge make things difficult

Look at the music and find the number at the top left right above each "system" of measures - a system being one set of measure that are physically connected. The full set of systems make the score (and in sheet music, not grades). Each measure is separated from the others by a vertical bar. There a...

Re: Regular piano

The best way to use an acoustic piano with Playground Sessions is to have a digital keyboard to practice on with PGS, then play on the Piano to get the feel of the keys, but not with PGS, since it doesn't know what is happening. So, a nice, inexpensive practice digital piano will do the job. Playgro...

Re: I hit the wall !

I have a number of thoughts for lessons like number 38 (the actual numbers of the lessons do occasionally change, so it is helpful that you also included the text name Counting Music SUbdivisions). One is to stop, drop and roll... no, wait, that's when you catch fire... I mean for hitting a brick wa...

Re: How to do looping on iPad app

I've been paying attention any time the iPad app has been mentioned relative to being updated or for missing features. I might be a little off on the way it wasn't included initially, but that was the understanding I came away with. The other bit, being included going forward was in a Q&A video on Y...

Re: How to do looping on iPad app

I asked for this feature in January 2017, Two Thousand Seventeen, 3 years ago. I wish Playground Sessions would stop new development platforms and get the iPad fixed with this most desired feature. The new platform will likely include this feature for the iPad app. The old code for the iPad did not...
