Excellent, welcome, and Hello! Not necessarily in that order. LOL

The software is effective and it can be addictive. Enjoy!

Re: Questions about Finger Position: Typo or Reasons Behind?

I haven't gotten there yet so I don't know what is going on. But a C/G will have two white notes between the G and the C. I heard a rule of thumb, that may or may not be the thing here, where if there are two white keys between the thumb and next finger, to use the 3 finger, and if there is just one...

Re: How do i start?

One point to be aware of is the program can't do the "Keeping Score" thing with a plain acoustic piano. Something like a Yamaha Disklavier can, though. They have tiny computers that will send and receive the MIDI that PGS looks for to score your playing. But you can still use PGS without the MIDI to...

Re: Interactive vs Printable Sheet Music

I had a song that didn't seem to have a printable copy once. I emailed support and they fixed me up. If they are for the current Challenge they might not have printable scores. The normal ones you buy pretty much all do.

Re: Custom Virtual Instruments (VST)

From what I've heard, the Mac can do this without additional software. Load up the VST, tell it what MIDI to listen to, then Load up PGS and do the same. They both will play accordingly. I haven't tried that though. I have a really old Mac and haven't really tried VST on it.

Re: Full Accompaniment

David Sides and Phil Anderson recently had a video together where they answered some questions. That was one and the answer was it is on the list of things to do - Singer accompanist versions or courses. I don't think there was a timeline for it though.

Re: Yamaha iPad PGS issue

I'll chime in to say the P-515 and iPad do work great together. I have the P-515 and even though my main PGS tool is WIndows based, I have used the iPad with it recently (an iPad Air).

Re: Is Playground Sessions Dying?

There is a massive rewrite of the app in progress. As far as I know it takes into account some of the bugs, some of the "character flaws" and many of the requests for features. Hopefully we'll get a timeline for delivery soon. But you can tell it hasn't been abandoned because new songs are coming up...

Re: iPad updates needed

For several months an update for the ipad application is requested, without any answer. It's a shame because the content of the teaching is quality! But for me who only use the Ipad I will not renew my subscription if nothing moves. Just try for example the application Flowkey !!!! They've given th...

Re: Benny and the jets, Advanced - IS FAKE

Sometimes they can come to a good agreement with the company that owns the publishing rights and can publish the original artist's arrangement. even for Chopin? he is dead since 1849. Same as Beethoven, Bach ... etc They are all dead. No licensing (to my knowledge). I'm thinking that's the part whe...
