Re: 100% Completion Boot Camp

I am the dumb butt. In the dashboard for the beginner boot camp it says 92 in an oval. Next to the 92 is a little something I thought was a percent sign. Nope it says 92. And my oval is complete. So the dashboard is telling me that I have finished the beginner boot camp.

Yeah.

100% Completion Boot Camp

Hello, I have completed all the lessons in the beginner boat camp with 100% scores. I have all the trophies. But, the dashboard says that I have only complete 92% of the beginner boot camp. Do you have to watch all the videos or complete the Or do you have to complete all the bonus songs. What is go...

Re: Corrolation between music on screen and chords being played

Hi,

When that happens to me I have always been wrong about the notes and my fingering. I would suggest clicking on the chord to see what the keys are on the keyboard at the bottom of the PGS screen. Sometmes I forget to look at the key signature and am missing sharps and flats.

Good Luck Scott

Re: Where should I be looking?

Hi, I had a time when I was relying on looking at my hands a lot to play. When I looked up to the sheet music I had to find where I was and that is when I tended to blotch it. So I worded hard for awhile not looking at my hands at all. Now I try to only look down on some transitions. Another thing t...

Re: Add Two Octave Scales/Modes

I second this request. I am certainly no expert, but yes a ton of the scales have different fingering for 2 octaves versus 1 octave. I find it is almost always the low note and or the high note in the octave that disagree. I tend to play the 1 octave and change the fingering hoping that they will ad...

I love that ad. It makes me laugh every time. I don't think it is when the saints come marching in. My guess is Harry ad libbing.

Re: Hanon Exercises

Hi, I did not express how appreciative I am of PlayGround for all the new content they keep adding. Makes a great program better all the time. Thanks

I don't know for sure if they just added or if I unlocked it by completing BootCamp Intermediate recently.

Good Luck. Scott

Hanon Exercises

Just saw that Hanon exercises 1-20 have been added to courses. I wish PGS would make announcements when they add content.

Enjoy.

Re: Fingering

Sorry but I disagree with Andrew. Fingering in PGS to me is an excellent starting suggestion. But, I have modified it frequently for what I am comfortable with. For example. If you have large hands you can stretch instead of jump. To move hand position while holding down a key I will change my finge...

New Surface X

Hi All, I love using PlaygroundSessions on my Microsoft surface tablet. But it is getting to be time to buy a new Surface. I have read numerous reviews that that the surface has compatibility issues. The surface x runs a Qualcomm arm processor. Went to a Microsoft store and they said you need to run...
