Re: Hot Keys
Yes, it does. Middle C to restart, D to move to next section. However, this only applies when the score dialog comes up at the end of an attempt, it doesn't play the song if the dialog is not up (unfortunately). This can be annoying, because in some keys you want to place your hands in the right pos...

Re: YAMAHA DGX-640 does not play the accompaniments from Playground through its speakers
I don't have a Yamaha, and I had a look through the manual online and it doesn't look like it can, but I may be wrong. The first thing needed is to be able to send sound out through the USB cable. For this you would want the usb/midi driver from yamaha. For the Korg Kronos this allows me to select i...

Re: Should I continue to use the finger number method?
For purely learning to sight read I have had https://www.sightreadingfactory.com/app recommended to me. I'm giving it a try now.

Re: Lesson 21 error
the second chapter of Sam Smith 'Stay with Me'? the one with just the tied notes in the left hand? As it happened I had just gone back and played that one again before coming onto the forum, so I tried chapter 2, and don't see any issue.

Re: Game of Thrones - Great music and great for speed and coordination
Ah, I see, thanks. Of course, 'steep learning curve' doesn't mean what most people think it means, it means you learn a lot in a short space of time, not 'very difficult', which it may or may not be. I found this one tune more difficult that most, not because I couldn't hit the notes, I can do that ...

Re: Which song am I playing?
I second (or third) this. Looking at the Songs there is a good bit of information, the tempo, the song title, composer, etc, but in lessons there is pretty much nothing. It doesn't help that the little 'tick' doesn't show up immediately in the bootcamp display.

Re: Game of Thrones - Great music and great for speed and coordination
I had one earlier lesson that I could not pass for some time. It wasn't me either, it was quite a simple one, but the tolerance was extremely fine, in fact it was putting my 'missed' notes right on top of the displayed notes. I actually contacted support about it, but when they contacted me I tried ...

Re: Rookie Lesson 29
To answer my own question, Support got in touch today, and asked it if was the same at slow tempo. Yet it was, but I tried it again anyway - 100%. Then on fast tempo - same. then the remaining lessons - same. So whatever the problem was has cured itself. I unloaded and reloaded twice and it made no ...

Re: Settings not available.
Just want to add that this isn't a universal problem. I'm running Sierra 10.12.6 on a Macbook Pro 17" and have no problems accessing those settings dialogs. When I start up Playground the login screen comes prefilled with my user name and password. I can send midi to the Mac and select my Korg as th...

Re: sound
Interesting, thanks for the additional info. I realize that the Kronos is a music workstation rather than a straightforward digital piano, and thus has more options available for routing input and output through speakers or to the built in sequencer, but it is pretty neat that a single USB cable can...
