Re: Am I the only one who is having a heart attack at rookie session 8?!

Ngā peke me ngā heke! The climbing up the going down! Yeah, I'm barely out of rookie beginner, now going really slowly in rookie intermediate. For me, actually working out the psychology of it has been as tough as the music, i.e. expecting too much too fast, wanting to give up when it just feels imp...

Re: Printing problems: So What, moderate Rookie

OK, all sorted. Having 'mastered' So What I tried printing out Vivaldi and that succeeded. Thanks. Meanwhile I was hunting around for info on how many prints one gets and what happens when you run out. Is that in some FAQ someplace?

Printing problems: So What, moderate Rookie

Kia ora, hi, I'm having problems pringint So What (Miles Davis, Rookie Moderate). I get the dialogue window with the music, but then my iMac hangs up, and when I do a force quit it shows "Playground Sessions not responding". Any ideas about what I might try. Printer etc. working fine on everything e...

I feel the same way. I also feel like the absence of shame and humiliation that comes with not having a human hear my efforts really makes the learning a whole lot more fun.

Arpeggio courses?

Hi, appreciating that courses get unlocked as one goes along, and you don't like giving much away, just wondering if there is an arpeggio course out there/in my future perhaps?

Re: Better to learn with numbers or letters for the keys (For the Advanced players)

I went through rookie bootcamp only using numbers. Now I'm partway through intermediate, I'm at the same time going back through rookie and playing with no numbers or letters. This idea was suggested by someone on the FB group and it's working well for me. I reckon the numbers are great for starters...

Bookmark or highlight lessons (for sorting, to return to)

Hi! LOVING PGS...am just over halfway through intermediate bootcamp...doing some coursework, too. There are some songs in the bootcamp lessons I come back to often to try to get to 100% on a first play, and just to make the playing better. I don't REALLY need this, but I was thinking it would be nea...

Re: Duration of individual session

OK... So just the general stats? So if I lo on today to start...I'll need to see what I'm up to in terms of time spent...then look again when I finish up, to see the time I've spent in this particular session? As in, there's not a trip counter (kind like a car that measures overall mileage but also ...
