Re: Spread Chord Voicings

Thank you. I love the Triad exercises. I run through 7 or 8 of the challenges everyday as a left hand warm up. It's really helped my playing. I guess i should finish out the stragglers. :D I think it would really help me bring my playing to the next level to have similar exercises with spread voicin...

Spread Chord Voicings

Are there any plans to extend the Chord lessons to cover two handed spread voicings, extended chords, or altered chords?

Re: Intermediate Tour - Lesson #16 (8th Notes and Rests)

ConnerJ, I started going through the Triads lessons when I started the Intermediate bootcamp. I highly recommend adding some of those lessons into your practice sessions.

Re: Intermediate Tour - Lesson #16 (8th Notes and Rests)

Do you mean the "Because of You" bootcamp? I actually skipped that lesson when I first got there. I found playing in Eb/Cm at that time to be a bit of jump and honestly if the goal of the lesson was to learn 1/8th concepts not entirely necessary. I found the next few lessons easier. Well, a few week...

Re: Please explain difficulty levels

Here's what Thomas sent:

"When it comes to Bootcamp lessons, the "easy, moderate and hard" labels will impact the behavior of the instant feedback. For example, lessons designated as "easy" will have a more lenient scoring.

Hope this provides some clarification."

Re: Please explain difficulty levels

I'm a beginner and I'm Ok that PGS isn't geared toward advanced players. I'd just like to know if the ranking system within a level has any utility so I can get a handle on how I'm progressing.

Please explain difficulty levels

Hi, I noticed that there are difficulty levels assigned to boot camp lessons, although the vast majority are labeled easy. I really could not make heads or tails of what that means. For example, the intermediate level block chord lessons mostly are all 'easy', the intermediate left hand only broken ...

Re: Prevent a lesson from being marked as completed when it's being played at half speed

It would also be nice if a lesson were marked complete if the challange module was completed regardless if the earlier modules had been done or not. Honestly, some of the lessons have a lot of redundancy and it may not necessary for every student to complete every module, and some students may do be...

Re: Let it be sheet music

I play the E with my left thumb. Essentially,I pick up my thumb and drop it. Another thing about that passage is that it positions the R hand to play the E with the thumb but a different right hand position to play essentially the same passage the second time through. Not a big deal but if it weren'...
