Re: Where Do You Start ??? Any Guidance ??
Thanks for the response, it helps :) I love the idea of having a "preferred" path with the understanding that there is nothing wrong in changing things up from time to time :) I saw that the courses are related to the bootcamp directly recently because I saw a bootcamp exercise completed before I go...

Re: Am I the only one who is having a heart attack at rookie session 8?!
Just another rookie sharing his point of view :) Im at rookie 66 I think and I start noticing that I rely too much on the numbers. I use an iPad and the numbers come back at each new lessons so I got fed up to remove them but I notice it's a crutch. Also I learn by pattern and when I realised that t...

Re: Where Do You Start ??? Any Guidance ??
I knew where to start, but Id like a bit more guidance. I like the fact that you let people adjust the course to their need, but I would appreciate a "default path" that proven sucessfull more often. For example, during the rookie bootcamp, do you do the courses only when you get bored or are they n...

Re: How to complement Playground sessions?
If you just want drills there are a ton on youtube, look for piano course or piano drills. But, and Im just sharing the little that I know after about 2 months of course, I may read too much into it but the lessons are not random songs but chosen arrangements in increasing level of difficulty. I fee...

Re: Is there a way of getting rid of the moving line?
A quick way to deal with the bar might be to set it to the background color for a nearly invisible moving bar. It will still need some coding to make the color of the bar a toggle, but it would be less than for removing the bar altogether. Thats a great idea ! And if the switch was in the config me...

Re: Sound problems w iPad
Just FYI, the app used to crash constantly (a month ago) until I disabled the piano sound (volume to 0). I use the piano sound from my keaboard and the accompaniment from the iPad and it's now mostly stable. The other problem I have with sound is that randomly the accompaniment will go superspeed fi...

Re: metronome and accompaniment timing way off
I've had that, the 1234 sounds like a chipmunk and accompaniment is at super speed but the bar that follow the song is regular speed. I kill/cancel the app and it usually fix the problem. Once I had to install the app and reinstall to solve the problem. It happened to me last week. The only inconven...

How I solved 1234 sounding like a chipmunk and the accompaniment going super speed :)
Randomly the accompaniment will get REALLY quick and the count 1234 sound like a chipmunk (really), but the bar to follow the song goes to a normal speed => stop/start on uninstall/reinstall => work. Almost all problem are solved by stopping/starting the app (stopping=swap out), or by uninstalling a...
