I'm doing the same thing, weekly reboot my iOS and Android devices.
And shut down my labtop daily, and it always run better next day, I hate sometimes that I have to reboot while in the middle of the task.

After force quit the app and log back in again, I see the "1 Octave Scales" show up at the bottom.
