Re: Error in A Major Triad lesson

Is this in the Chords Course or the actual song "Tears In Heaven" ? If the song, which level?

Re: Questions about Finger Position: Typo or Reasons Behind?

One thought, even if the thumb on Bb to A isn't the most comfortable, it might be teaching a needed skill. But I'm purely guessing. I don't really know why it was chosen that way.

Re: Questions about Finger Position: Typo or Reasons Behind?

Thank you sw1tch73ch for the information! I made myself to get used to that fingering and finally got 100% on that song (Bootcamp Intermediate #60-3) but coming to #60-7 and #60-8, it was impossible. Keys are changed from E-flat to F-major starting from #60-7 and this fingering doesn't make any sen...

Re: Questions about Finger Position: Typo or Reasons Behind?

There should have been mention of that. It is relatively normal, depending on the notes leading up to that sequence. I have had that a couple of times where the thumb has to scootch quickly from one note to the next from one beat to the next, or faster

Re: Flat Symbol not showing for chords

For some reason, after applying the fix, the next Windows update removed the feature again. So once fixed, it might not stay that way for everyone. We'll see how long it sticks around for me this time. At the moment I'm on Windows 10 version 1809.

Good luck, Xanthira222. But to be fair, you don't need luck. You just need practice!

I've seen the a few reviews on the PX-S1000 and they are pretty much all glowing. I imagine you will continue loving it for a long time.

Re: Full Accompaniment

I am disappointed that a full-fledged accompaniment is missing. I want to learn to play and write beautiful accompaniment in different genres. I want to learn to play the keys as keyboard players do. 99 percent of the time real keyboardists and pianists do not play vocal melody. I hope you want to ...

Re: Questions about Finger Position: Typo or Reasons Behind?

I haven't gotten there yet so I don't know what is going on. But a C/G will have two white notes between the G and the C. I heard a rule of thumb, that may or may not be the thing here, where if there are two white keys between the thumb and next finger, to use the 3 finger, and if there is just one...

Re: How do i start?

One point to be aware of is the program can't do the "Keeping Score" thing with a plain acoustic piano. Something like a Yamaha Disklavier can, though. They have tiny computers that will send and receive the MIDI that PGS looks for to score your playing. But you can still use PGS without the MIDI to...
