Re: Timing and Rhythm

You can have the lesson play for you. You won't get practice points. Look for the little left and right hands at the top left of the lesson. Click them to tell the app to play that hand for you. Click each of them to play both parts. That way you can hear the tempo of the piece.

Re: Problem playing Bootcamp video's

Which version is your install? I just reinstalled because of troubles with the videos. The new install is 2.4.395. I think I was using 2.4.355 before. (Typing these from memory so I may have misremembered the exact numbering).

Re: Cramped leg room with Yamaha P115?

I don't know a solution. I use an adjustable height chair to get my arms to the right position and I find my legs are right against the bottom of the keyboard too.

Re: Backwards key

Hello Brewster. That is one of the short comings of the forum from the app. I use a web browser to "surf" the forum. I've noted the same troubles with trying to go back while in the app. However, you are in the correct place for introducing yourself! So let's hear how you found Playground Sessions, ...

Re: Roll Call!

Excellent work, Patrick! I'm behind you in lessons, even though I think I started before - I certainly have more hours built up. But I'm not nearly done with Rookie boot camp. The P45 is a great starter piano. At your rate, though, you'll outgrow it in no time! ;) Something I saw way back was a book...

Re: Video Lessons Not Playing

OK, Crazy, but now the two lessons are playing. I did shut down the PC for a while to work on the Android Beta (Looking good so far, I'll post my comments in that appropriate thread in a bit). So.... Not sure what happened. Maybe it was a new CODEC that my Windows 7 box didn't have loaded and when I...

Re: Video Lessons Not Playing

Windows version: Playground Sessions 2.4.335

Lessons 1 and 7 fail to play for me, after they "updated."

Lesson 16 updated but still plays.

Lessons 17, 34, 35 and 37 have not updated, and play fine for me. I haven't reached any of the others yet.

Re: Timing in my key suppressions.

You didn't mention what computer device you are using. It is possible it is too slow, but I have a "kind of old" and "kind of slow" Intel Core i3-4010U based computer (2 cores / 4 threads @ 1.7 GHz) with 4 GB of RAM that mostly keeps up. I usually have to make sure nothing else is running. The key, ...

Re: Use IPad rather than Computer

I don't see anywhere in the specs for the P-115 that the audio from the computer can be played through the P-115. You need an instrument that will take either an AUX In audio connection, or allow digital audio playback from the computer. One of the feature requests we users have made is for the back...

Re: Keyboard recommendations

Since it is the clunky keys that annoy you so much, be sure to play these keyboards with the sound off, so you can hear the key action. My YPG-635 has the same Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keys and they do make noise when playing on them. This is probably from the little hammer action inside that ma...
