That's correct - unfortunately, Playground doesn't give different progress feedback for the different aids you can use. I think the best solution right now would be to use fingerings and note names for each chunk of music, then try playing the section with no aids, and don't move on from the section...

Yes, we're definitely planning on improving the app interface in the future. The ends of note durations are a limitation of the software currently.

Re: How to complement Playground sessions?

As with any good teacher would tell you, no one can have all the right answers (and any teacher that tells you to never study with another one is a bad teacher!). I'm thrilled you're enjoying Playground! So, in our video lessons by David Sides, his correct posture and hand positioning are definitely...

Re: Casio Celvano attaching to ipad

Does your Casio have MIDI in/out plugs? That's another option. Re: Playing selected measures - Accompaniment out of sync

Try re downloading the lesson, or clearing it out completely: Go to Help >> Clear Playground Data Check the boxes that say Clear Lesson Assets and Clear Lesson Data Click submit and the app will close. Upon reopening, all previously downloaded lessons will not be downloaded, but your progress and st...

Re: Musical Notation Question

All the keys on the piano are not only assigned a note (letter) name, but also an octave designation. Middle C, located in the middle of the keyboard under the logo, and also 1 line below the treble clef, is called C4. If you find the C on the 3rd space of the treble clef, that's C5 - one octave up ...
