Re: Better enforcement of rests

It depends on what time frame we're talking about. I'll be transparent and admit that desktop app updates won't be ready in the near future. About the long term goals, I'm not allowed to discuss any details about it, but it's good to know, for you, the user, that we aren't complacent with the app ri...

Re: Timing and Rhythm

That's correct. We're currently prioritizing the android version, and it's in the testing phase right now and should be released sometime in the summer months. This is a huge developer's accomplishment! We don't have any desktop app updates that are ready to be released, but that doesn't mean that d...

It's more of a feature to get users situated with the keys for a segment, like you said, while isolating just the pitches. If we were to implement it, I could see it as being a "pre-lesson feat...

Re: iPad screeching, popping then no sound

It's also possible something's going wrong with your keyboard. Can you check to see if it has any MIDI options on it?

It's good we've narrowed the problem down to your set up, but we're still not sure if it's the iPad or Piano.

Re: Advice on Basic Dedicated Desktop Computer?

I would say in general, look for these requirements: -A large, HD display monitor (almost a given these days, anyway). -8 GB of RAM a side note about this: I have a 4 gb RAM laptop computer from 2015, and I frequently get messages like "there is not enough memory available for this task" when runnin...

Hmm, try playing with your audio devices and outputs, and see what that does.

Re: Piano Demo Sound vs Actual Sound

It must be something to do with your audio devices, if anything. I just played around in the app with extremes of the advanced piano settings - brightness, wetness, dryness, room size, width, etc...and what I found is that no matter what I set those at, the piano demo sound outputted by the Playgrou...
