Re: Video Game Section

Playground Sessions buys the rights to arrange our music through Hal Leonard. Unfortunately, video game music is tricky, as we don't have a lot of those rights yet from HL. I'm not sure what the status of those rights are. I wouldn't rule it out indefinitely, but just know that we don't have permiss...

Re: Nier Automata Ost- Kaine (Salvation)

Hi there, Thanks for the request! You can submit the song on our official song request form here: https://goo.gl/forms/WgeDinkqk2sXgBg33. This is the best way to make sure that your requests get relayed directly to our music team. All of the user requests get filed into a document, and then we have ...

Re: Social Settings in User setting

While I responded to your similar message over the support desk via email, I think it might be helpful to post my response here as well so other users can see it. The PG Team is aware of the fact that the Facebook link does not work in the social features section of the settings on the app. Due to o...

Re: More Specific Progress Reporting

That's correct - unfortunately, Playground doesn't give different progress feedback for the different aids you can use. I think the best solution right now would be to use fingerings and note names for each chunk of music, then try playing the section with no aids, and don't move on from the section...

Yes, we're definitely planning on improving the app interface in the future. The ends of note durations are a limitation of the software currently.

Re: Musical Notation Question

Exactly. While the octave designations are based on C, there exists an A0, Bb0, and B0 below the first C. Good stuff!

Re: How to complement Playground sessions?

As with any good teacher would tell you, no one can have all the right answers (and any teacher that tells you to never study with another one is a bad teacher!). I'm thrilled you're enjoying Playground! So, in our video lessons by David Sides, his correct posture and hand positioning are definitely...

Re: Casio Celvano attaching to ipad

Does your Casio have MIDI in/out plugs? That's another option. With an almost infinite number of set ups possible regarding audio interfaces, we have no way of assuring users that it will work 100%, but you can certainly give it a try. Some have had success, others have had trouble. Can you describe...

Re: Cant seem to get around the speed issues

While I don't program or upload any of the interactive sheet music, I can offer some insight on the tolerance. If there was a fixed time interval, then users would be allowed to play less accurately at faster tempo. On the contrary, at a slower tempo, the tolerance for inaccuracy might almost be zer...
