Re: Toggle count in off when in loop mode

Man, this one is a popular suggestion. I'm prioritizing this one later this week to discuss.

Re: Delete downloads

Thomas, Yes, there is. You can delete songs (without losing your progress) by: -going to the help tab -clicking on clear Playground data... -Check "lesson assets" and "lesson data" -then it will prompt you to close the app. Upon reopening, the lessons won't be downloaded anymore, but your scores wil...

Re: Wait for right note learning mode

My opinion on this issue is that it can turn bad real quick, musically speaking. I don't believe that users should be able to advance while playing the notes out of time - it's an easy bypass from learning the sections well. That being said, I'll still run it by the team. I understand it's been a fe...

Re: User Selectable Time Delay before Starting Count and Looping

I'm not sure what we can do about disabling the count in as I said in another post, but I can try asking about it. Music in general is very time consuming, haha. It's good to take a few seconds to get your hands prepared. It's also never a good idea to try to jump on a moving train without running a...

Re: Better enforcement of rests

Thomas, I would argue that it depends on the tune. In some contexts, playing over a rest would be wrong - maybe a fast song with a bunch of short note values, very articulate and punchy.... However, in a slow expressive song, it's up to the performer to judge some of the phrasing, durations, etc. Bo...

Re: MIDI out

Yes, some pianos wouldn't support that, so I'm not sure how that would work.

Regardless, that might prove tricky for the developers. I can check and see what the possibility of such a feature would be.

Re: Timing and Rhythm

As John said, it's a good idea to use the piano demo feature and have the app play the song for you. Additionally, you should sing and count the rhythms out loud . When you form memory connections between speaking and using your hands, you will progress much quicker. About the piano demo sound, it i...

Re: looping part options (sa far annoying)

I'm unsure what the status of this update is. It might be a trickier task than we once imagined for the developer team. Just to clarify - the count in doesn't repeat with every loop. It only counts you in at the beginning of a loop. I don't see how a loop is any different than playing a full section...
