Re: before I buy a new MacBook Pro (or Air)
That's interesting. Windows is apparently picky about what will auto-start. Notepad works fine, but Playground doesn't. That's a little disappointing. I don't use that feature often, in fact on previous versions of Windows I spent a lot of effort making sure there wasn't anything in the auto-start f...

Re: marks or something to remark points
Sometimes the first couple of remarks a person makes to get added to the forum right away. And that is a great suggestion. We've made similar requests and we hope once the software is updated to see some of our suggestions. I hope this is one that made it. This really would be helpful. If we print t...

Re: before I buy a new MacBook Pro (or Air)
guys thank you very much, some points are clear to me, some not :) but that's the life, seems I have to live with the sw like it is The good thing is the developers recognize some limitations, even flaws, and places where new features would be useful. Which means when the new version of the desktop...

1 - Windows 10: There is a folder where you can drop shortcuts to the programs you want to run when you login: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp 2 - I'm going to go out on a limb and predict this will be a low priority but cool if they do it feature. Few people have comput...

Re: You Tube- Awesome Excercises
A "cheat" would be for the shorter exercises to just take a screen capture snapshot and print that image. It isn't quite as clean as the printable sheet music, and only captures what fits on the screen. But until real printing of lessons is available, it might do the job. At least sometimes.

Re: error in song The girl from ipanema
I don't think there is a setting to make Letters the default. That is one of our complaints with the current iteration of Playground Sessions. Personally I'd like to see it "sticky" so that whatever I set it to last, it stays that way. But a setting for "default mode" would work for me too.

Re: I'd pity the human piano teacher with me as a student
Once thing the human teacher will look for is improvement, week to week. Plus the human teacher doesn't sit there watching you the entire time you are practicing. They give you the lesson, work with you to make sure you understand what the "goal" of the piece is, and then send you off into the blue ...

Re: Using a Piano
Update, I did test my iPad Air on the latest iOS 12.1. It was happy with my Camera Connection Kit and USB "Printer" cable. I don't have a Roland FP-30 to test with, sadly.

I have this cable for the iPad: https://www.apple.com/shop/product/MK0W2AM/A/lightning-to-usb-3-camera-adapter?fnode=91 I then use a standard USB Type-A to USB Type-B like this one: https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-USB-2-0-Cable-Male/dp/B00NH11KIK/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1543563308&sr=8-5&keywords...

Re: indicate tempo on segment progress graph
I do agree. I haven't come up with a way to track progress - i.e., reaching 100% at slower tempos and getting credit, but not "full" credit. The progress chart only shows how accurately you hit the notes, and not how well they met the tempo. It needs some sort of combination, perhaps two lines on th...
