Re: Can I just move on?
PianoMan57, That is a tough question to answer. The easy answer is yes - there is little in the software to keep you from skipping over a lesson here and there. The consequences of that are many. Courses are unlocked dependent on achieving certain levels within the app. So you may miss out on some c...

Re: Turn off line
No MiddleC, I can only speak for the desktop PGS but the cursor (vertical line) cannot be turned off in this version of the software. Yes, it is definitely a crutch, but for me very helpful when I start a lesson or song. You can learn the entire thing without having to count! What I do is after lear...

Re: Prelude in C - no practice points
The practice points and levels are a throwback to the early days of PGS, where students competed against each other on how they progressed through the program. There was even a leaderboard. The leaderboard disappeared 5 years ago, and since then the practice points and level numbers don't hold much ...

Re: Frustrated - Correct Notes with 4%
I don't see any screenshots. I know that seems to be a problem with these forums.
Try sending a quick email (with the screenshot) to:
support@playgroundsessions.com
That gets you into the company's support system and they will be able to help you.

Re: PlaygroundSessions on Linux
Hey, hey, hey, welcome Albert. I am one of those Linux/WINE users. PGS is an outlier when it comes to WINE as it works nearly perfectly on that platform. I agree with @Moreless that the problem you experienced was likely a blip on the server side. I am running Fedora 32, kernel 5.8.14-200, with WINE...

Re: purchasing mor time
Hello Monte, You should not have to do anything. If you paid for a month, the company will automatically bill you every month until you cancel. The monthly plan though is the most expensive. If you are planning to use the software for at least a year, you might change over to a yearly plan - it work...

Re: missing 'e' key
Hello Jason - welcome to the club. What you think happened actually did happen. Your keyboard is too small for Playground Sessions. You don't mention which keyboard you have, and I had to look up "3-octave" keyboards - I assume 36 keys (including the black ones)? According to the docs: Though a 49-k...

Re: Music Theory portion
Hello Steve - only you can answer that. It may seem like a boring review of things you already know, but I suggest that you do not skip anything. Some of the courses unlock after you have completed certain lessons, so you do not want to miss out on any of them because you skipped over the trigger. A...

Re: Video performance - Prelude in C
Thanks for all the info, FlatPanda. Sounds like a great piano. I guess I'll just need to build more strength in my fingers.
