I'd check which version of Playground you are using. Make sure you are running at least 2.4.409. We have been working on a new versioning system that will keep things a lot cleaner going forward, and keep people better informed of changes.

It's on our radar, I could see this getting added in sometime this year for Windows, Mac, and iOS. It's a little trickier for Android but who knows, we could add it there as well.

It does work in landscape. The current version is both portrait and landscape. The next version will be landscape only.
