Re: Bootcamp music theory way too complicated
Have you done any of the courses that opened up during the rookie bootcamp? One that unlocks almost immediately is "Reading Music - Staff Notation (Rookie)" . That course teaches you all the music theory you need to know for the rookie bootcamp. These courses do not unlock with any fanfare, you just...

Re: What is the song played in the Bootcamp session "The Dot"?
Hello,
There is more than one lesson named "The Dot" in the rookie bootcamp. You might be thinking about "Scarborough Fair" or "Swan Lake" - the song names are usually shown on the thumbnail for each lesson. Let us know if you have trouble finding it.
Good luck.

Re: Why is the "Song Request" locked?
Hi St8kout, Wow - if you can learn a song from a YouTube video, especially one with that useless(IMO) Guitar Hero style "sheet music" then you definitely have earned my respect. In case that is not your preferred method of learning, the "Song Request Forum" was locked about 1 1/2 years ago as the so...

Re: Pauses, not detected?
Hello Thomas, welcome to the program. I think the word you are looking for is "rest". You aren't doing anything wrong. The version of the app that I am using does not use the MIDI information for key release or for how hard you pressed the key. So you can hold the keys for as long as you like or unt...

Re: SONG LYRICS
Hi Colleen, PGS does not include lyrics with the music. They stopped years ago, and if you search the word "lyrics" in these forums you can find out why. One other thing you can do is send an email to customer support: support@playgroundsessions.com To see if they are planning any changes to that po...

Re: Delete current user progress
Hello Helmatti, Is there a way to delete the progress completely so actually reset the user? I do not believe so. Others have asked for this from the company and were denied. You can certainly send a message through the support email and ask, maybe things have changed. If not, you can try something ...

Re: Future of PGS App?
Anyone else how finds this communication strategy somewhat unprofessional? Not sure I know how to answer this. You do know that post came from another end user and not the company, right? And that user's source of information was Facebook - not exactly a platform of fact-based communication. What I...

Re: Confused about hand positioning
Hello Linda - have you considered getting keyboard stickers to help you identify the keys on the keyboard? You can get them anywhere, the link below just an example of what they look like.

Re: Finding last lesson in Bootcamp
Hello Dave, @sw1tch73ch has by far the best answer here. When I open PGS, on the bottom left is a link to the most recent work I've done. So I click that and pop right into the most recent lesson I completed. It is also good so that I can repeat what I did yesterday. When you first start PGS on your...
