place tempo slider on practice page
I find setting myself continually adjusting the tempo. It would be great if the adjustment slider were right on the practice page instead of a new window opening to access it.

Re: I'd pity the human piano teacher with me as a student
That's very true. Nothing is worse that practicing hard only to find that you've mastered an error.

I'd pity the human piano teacher with me as a student
A great thing about PS is the infinity patience of software. I'm in the advanced bootcamp and it's pretty slow going though still very enjoyable and I will prevail! However, I go over the same part of a lesson a zillion times before mastering it. A human teacher would have stood up, pointed at the d...

indicate tempo on segment progress graph
The segment progress graph takes no account of the tempo at which the piece is played. As a result, when I increase the tempo as I get better, the progress graph shows the expected drop in performance accuracy as I am challenged with the higher speed. By showing the tempo, or even better, the percen...

Re: Duration of individual session
As a couple of others have mentioned, if you don't play through the exercise but practice only a part of it, that doesn't get counted as time spent. This bothered me until I realized that time spent doesn't matter...you either get it or you don't and if you don't you need to put in more time, no mat...

tied and untied 16th notes question
In the advanced bootcamp, lesson 4 on tied 16th notes, I am confused by what I find in measure three for the right hand. In this measure I find a double barred pair of 16th notes, a C and then a D. No problem on how to play that, but following there comes a second, but separately double barred D fol...

a lesson 44 possible bug
In intermediate bootcamp lesson 44 (on syncopation), when playing the left hand piano demo, the whole notes are not held for the measures in which they occur. These whole notes appear in every even measure (2,4,6, etc.) and are played in the demo as if they were eighth notes.

Re: Lesson 35 won't mark as complete.
I didn't get a check mark for the "Chariots of Fire" lesson because I can't bear to listen to that tune, I hate it so much, so I skipped it entirely. The next lesson went fine, I got a check mark for completion. I was worried I could not skip, but you can. I think you have to get 90% or better on ea...
