Re: The Well Tempered Clavier (Course) ???

https://playgroundsessions.uservoice.com/ for single songs, for "Expert level" and Fuges/Courses I'd hit the support e-mail.

Re: Hello from Switzerland

Grüezi wohl!

Fellow expat living in CH here, also pushing keys on an Arius since 8 months. Still happy with the machinery :)

Have fun and you'll get better for sure!

Re: Prelude in C

Fellow student here, not associated with PGS (apart from being a customer). If you can play it fast, you can play it slow™. (The original saying is: If you can play it slow, you can play it fast, which is not almost meant as a joke; while mine is.) I mean, they did a very (and I mean veeery ) detail...

Re: Practice Software that Allows Importing Sheet Music?

I am not aware of any software that does what you are asking for natively. The closest thing I could think of is MuseScore. It is open source music composition software that (with plug-ins) might be able to do what you are asking. I tried it a while back with the Hanon exercises and was never able ...

Re: New and confused

Hi and welcome :) That's entirely up to you and your expectations! Back of the envelope calculation: yearly subscription costs 119.88$/year, lifetime costs 289.99$ once. This means that if you plan to use PGS actively for more than 2.41 years (roughly 2 years and 5 months), you break even with the l...

Re: Sight Reading hopeful for PGS

Remember, the keys on the piano and the notes on the sheet music aren't moving around while you play.
Well... on the sheet music they will move around, when the clef changes, but that's again: not rookie level :)

Re: Song Credits / Stars

Hi Eva, If I understand your question correctly, you are just being confused by the confusing UI-design. https://www.dropbox.com/s/oicnu434noygdog/dashboard.png?dl=0 (sorry for the external link, I cannot attach pictures into this forum nowadays...) I identified three areas for you: 1) How many free...

Questions about notation

I have searched around in the forum, but didn't find a topic, which would be a general discussion about music notation in general (especially outside of PGS), thus I'm starting this. And starting it with a question ;) I have came across the following notation in an arrangement of Polinaise op. 53 Hé...

Re: Extremely disappointed with the Song Library interface

Hi SWhite Whilst I understand your concerns (if you read this thread, you know that I'm also a software developer), I would like to point out a failure in your post: PGS is based on Adobe AIR and not on Flash. Adobe AIR has no end-of-life with the end of 2020, source here: https://community.adobe.co...

Re: When to turn off fingering annotation

My 2¢: I try to figure out the fingering myself, turn on the fingering for double-checking and/or learning, and turn it off again, before I play it "for real".
