Re: New amateur musician

Hello Alment and Welcome! Everyone is different in their ability and goals, so take my advice with that in mind: Slow for me, if the lesson is particularly tough is about 1/4 speed. So I would start a piece that is full speed at 160 BPM with a beginning tempo of about 40. If the piece isn't too hard...

Oh, "Because The Night" is awesome.

Re: Uploading sheet music

Those are good ideas, Russ. I have MuseScore, as well as Cakewalk Sonar, and an older light version of CuBase (came with my MX49). I'm good for creating a MIDI file from sheet music. But I really like the way we can set up sections of the score in Playground Sessions to concentrate on. It wouldn't b...

(You have to press the "Function" button a bunch of times until PC mode shows up - they go in order, so depending on which ...

Re: HELLO FROM NEWBIE AND A QUESTION - NO SCORE

You might need to contact the support team (I believe you can find their email in the "Contact" part of the support page. Meanwhile, Are you using the same laptop with the E353? I have that keyboard and it works reasonably well - or it did last time I tried it. Are you using the same cable? I'm gues...

Re: Hello Newbie here

Hello Djstuff, Welcome to Playground Sessions! The best way to advise you is with some background... How much music training have you had, or are you a raw beginner (No wrong answers... LOL), what are your goals - do you want to play professionally eventually, or is this all just for fun? What syste...
