Re: Game of Thrones - Great music and great for speed and coordination

Don't expect to get this one right away. I think it took me three weeks to get this one done. I started slow, working at 52 BPM to start. Only once I could play through at a specific BPM would I try to advance to my next goal. So from 52 BPM, I'd move up to 68 BPM. From 68 to 76, then 84, then 92, t...

Re: sound

I think the February remarks were regarding pushing MIDI to the keyboard for the accompaniment. Since the accompaniment is an audio file, sending the MIDI for the accompaniment isn't in the program. Technically, the program still doesn't have the ability to send audio to your keyboard. That is somet...

Re: sound

To add to Alunap's comments - A lot of keyboards have an "AUX" input 1/8" stereo jack. You can plug your MP3 player, iPod, iPhone, Tablet, or even the line out of your desktop computer or laptop to the AUX input. Alunap is talking about the USB Audio output of your tablet or computer. Some keyboards...

Re: Which song am I playing?

I've always thought a little more information on the screen would be good. The lesson number, the lesson title, the song title for songs, and of course the original artist of the songs and the authors. I think this when the lessons first start up, then forget when I get working on it, so I never rem...

Re: Speed and accuracy exercises

There is a good size backlog of feature requests. There are new features that have come out. They don't always get to the specific one any given person is waiting for. This is one of the features I want to see, too. If I had to guess, this particular feature set is not a trivial change to the program.

Re: Progress Report! Sw1tch73ch

Hi Aplaca! Good idea on the update! So here goes: I've reached Level 40, still in the Rookie Bootcamp. I just finished Rookie Bootcamp Lesson 67. Before I continue on to Lesson 68, I'm working on "O Holy Night" which I figure if I start now, I'll have it completed by Christmas. :D My first "Three St...

Re: More piano key shortcuts

The original request was to stop and start a lesson, and that has been implemented using the "Lowest + Highest Notes" played together. When you stop a lesson it automatically goes back to the beginning.

Re: Both hands coordination

I feel your pain. I have the same problem. My solution is to slow the playback tempo to what you might think is a ridiculously slow speed. If you're on a PC or Mac, you can select a wide range of tempos. I will sometimes choose 48 BPM for the first play through of a both hands part. I will also prev...

Since there aren't "Like" buttons like on Facebook, I'm just respond here that I think this is a great idea.

Oh, yeah, and EVERYONE deserves their own personal white board (dry erase board). Mine is 17 inches by 11 inches.
