Re: How to play guitar 'piano-style' on an actual piano?
Arnie; Looking at the music in my fake book, it would be pretty straightforward to play an accompaniment to the song. There's a hundred ways to do it, but at my basic level, I would play it with the root (base) note on one finger on my left hand, and play the chord with my right. In other words, the...

Re: I see no much of the old real rock songs from 70s
If they are available, I always buy all three levels of the songs. There's been times where I didn't even play the beginner level, but I have it in case I want the bear bones of the song, or maybe one of my friends or family wants to try out the program. The intermediate songs are my appropriate lev...

Re: Uploading sheet music
Agree on all accounts. I also tried Midiillustrator because of the "step through" feature, thinking I could input my music and then practice with the step through, but it was klunky and I didn't get along with it. Playground is the best out there, hands down. If they do put in an "input your own" fe...

Re: Uploading sheet music
I use Musescore to create sheet music that can be run on the computer. It's easy, after a bit of practice, and it's FREE. You can follow along the music with your keyboard. Obviously, it doesn't score your work like Playground, but I find it easier to learn a new non-playground song in this manner t...

Re: Missing basic aspects (duration, loudness, pedal)
No, your english is fine. I never even considered that it wasn't your native language. I wish I were as fluent in another language. We will just disagree here. I think if I wanted as direct an answer as you are asking for, I would have done it privately, rather than on a public forum. As you say, it...

Re: Missing basic aspects (duration, loudness, pedal)
That's a pretty unfair question. David is the face of PGS, and you put him in a difficult position asking him to express his personal opinion on the program's possible deficiencies. This is not to say I disagree with you at all. The request to fix the duration of held notes has been mentioned multip...

Re: Add daily scales practice
I read somewhere, Facebook user's group probably, that this was going to be added last week. Did I miss an update, or did it not happen?

Re: Note Site Reading and finger numbers
Everyone has difficulty with two hands when they first tackle it. Go to YouTube and watch David or any pianist play, and remember that he or she had the same frustrations when they started to play. It's not something you're born with. Turn the metronome down slow. So s-l-o-w that you have time to th...
