Re: Flat Symbol not showing for chords

I just moved playground to a new build for my studio with a Fresh install of Windows 10. I now don't have the b symbol. Yes, I installed the supplemental Japanese fonts to no avail. The old system built 3 years ago with Windows 10 had zero issues with the font without even adding the Japanese supple...

Re: Your Most Challenging Lessons

I see. I also found some strangeness in the Cm lesson where the backing track drops out if you loop the second half of the lesson but not if you start at the beginning. Back to the original topic: I just hit the broken chord lessons in BC. I've really had spend more time on this new skill, especiall...

Re: Add daily scales practice

Scales, scales, scales. There should be Ionian and Aeolian two octave scales in 8ths and 16ths. You really don't need to have extensive tutorials, just a quick explanation of the transitions. Anyone doing these drills should have already been practicing the one octave scales and able to play them co...

Error in Bootcamp Intermidiate 20 - Cm GOT

Bootcamp 20-13 and Triad 20-13
The backing tract goes away when looping after measure 15. It's present throughout passage outside of looping or if you set the entry point of the loop somewhere before measure 10 or 11.

Re: Bootcamp Intermediate 19- D Major Triads is difficult!

Yes, I've found that in the challenge portion of the Triad lessons is more of a challenge than in most of the bootcamp lessons. The syncopation of the Sheeran piece made it even more challenging. I don't necessarily think Dm is out of place but the C minor exercise at 170 BPM that follows does seem ...

Re: Your Most Challenging Lessons

The backing tract is present at the slow speed and the designated full speed. It's present regardless of where you start or whether you set loops, although on rare occasions seems to lose synch with the metronome or cursor with some looping routines. I spend most of my time playing at of of those tw...

Error in A Major Triad lesson

Measure 11 "Tears in Heaven". The chord is a D/A but underneath the staff it says D/F#.

Re: Your Most Challenging Lessons

Wow, you're moving at light speed. I've been playing 4 months and I haven't gotten to any of those lessons yet. I gave up doing things in a linear fashion and I don't always wait until I get 100% to move on. Rather, I work on several lessons at a time. I've found the lessons aren't always incrementa...

Re: Questions about Finger Position: Typo or Reasons Behind?

Thank you sw1tch73ch for the information! I made myself to get used to that fingering and finally got 100% on that song (Bootcamp Intermediate #60-3) but coming to #60-7 and #60-8, it was impossible. Keys are changed from E-flat to F-major starting from #60-7 and this fingering doesn't make any sen...

Re: Questions about Finger Position: Typo or Reasons Behind?

I'm a bit behind you in the lessons and have only been playing piano since March but I'll risk giving an opinion based on previous experience with another instrument. When playing a run of notes, especially sequential ascending or descending notes, it's usually good to stick to or close to the finge...
