Re: Backing track at any tempo

I agree this should be feasible. On ancient or super lightweight systems where one is worried about real time performance a corresponding temporary audio track could be generated in the couple of seconds it takes to close the timing dialog and go back to playing. Typically in the Bootcamp the audio ...

Re: Loving the Eli Teplin Course!!

Hi, I want to echo the request for more accompaniment arrangements.

You won't see me in your statistics since this song is really not my taste but I'd love to see this format for other songs in other genres in your library.

Hopefully it's not impossible from a licensing standpoint...

Thanks!

Re: Startup chime shoul respect mute / headphone preference

Ha, that's interesting. It's caused a few embarrassing moments here :D

Also tried and look for the cursor / "moving line" graphic to solve an issue in another thread, but alas, that's not so easily accessible.

Re: Startup chime shoul respect mute / headphone preference

OK, for anyone else who wants the startup chime to go away: I don't know for other platforms but on Mac you can easily silence it. Follow these directions at your own risk; also, after updating PGS (let's keep hope!) you will have to do it again I expect. Shut down PGS Find the Playground applicatio...

Re: Keyboard, computer, and table setup

Edit: Forum software decided to remove most of the photos. Great. I then tried putting the laptop behind the keyboard, which is ok but I have to press "play" on the lessons and very quickly get my fingers back on the keyboard so that I don't miss any keys. I'm wondering if there is such a thing as a...

In the meantime I'd suggest playing off a pdf print or screen grab ;)

Re: Time to switch letters vs. numbers vs. none

HI Pavel, I get your point but I have two comments: * As was shown in another thread the relationship between the chord name and the actual notes to play is not 1:1 * It is actually /really useful/ to have a good idea of the chord progressions in songs, and how they relate to the notes you are playi...

Re: Printing problems: So What, moderate Rookie

OK, all sorted. Having 'mastered' So What I tried printing out Vivaldi and that succeeded. Thanks. Meanwhile I was hunting around for info on how many prints one gets and what happens when you run out. Is that in some FAQ someplace? Since you're on a Mac it's trivial to just print to a pdf (for you...

Re: Time to switch letters vs. numbers vs. none

Pavel, I don't understand why you chose to post these images. Apart from the chord notation (which I agree with Andrew is a really standard feature and unrelated to fingering or note hints) the third button does just what you want: Screenshot 2019-01-29 at 15.25.23.png No need for Photoshop. There a...

Re: Fingering in Happier (Theorist)

All of the notation is owned by him, and we simply just format it for the app and add fingerings. We are going to leave that be for now. Andrew, the problem is in the fingering, something you do have control over. I do have to say it's refreshing to see a honest "wontfix" for a change, but it's not...
