Re: Feature Requests -- Requesting Timeline for Implementation

Playground has been a one developer show for the last couple of years, but we have started to grow the team pretty significantly, so progress in all areas will be much quicker. I'm also a fan of Agile, but nobody really does Agile the way the books talk about. But yes, definitely will be a goal to ...

Re: Timing

4) Go into Task Manager and set the Task Priority of Playground Session to Realtime. I need to try this. I'm running on a relatively low end Intel i3 system and occassionally see hicups in the program smoothness. This just might be the ticket to smoothing it out. I'd entirely forgotten about Task P...

Re: Progress Report! Sw1tch73ch

I guess I forgot to add the couple other items I thought about while reflecting on my milestone - hitting level 21. The second thought is don't be in a rush to complete each lesson. Take the time to explore the facets of the lesson, in this case, playing notes on the off beat, on the "And" and let t...

Re: Are there plans for an app for Android?

Ah, this creates conflicts for me.... I have an iPad I intended my wife would use, but she never has, so it's sole purpose right now is Playground Sessions.... but I'm an Android guy at heart and will want to work with that.... decisions, decisions...

Progress Report! Sw1tch73ch

I reached a milestone today and thought this would be a good time for a peer review report of sorts. During my practice of the Rookie Bootcamp "Coldplay - Clocks" lessons I reached level 21. After I completed the final challenge for "Clocks" I thought about my progress and felt like sharing some ide...

Re: Roll Call!

Hi everyone nice to meet you all. My name is Ivan so please feel free to call me by my name or by Avatar which is my usual nickname. Hi Ivan! Good to see you here! Re: Trying out the iPad version

USB is a Server-Client setup. Your desktop, laptop, tablet and phone are the server, flash drives, external hard drives, keyboards, mice, cameras, music keyboards and so on are the clients. Interestingly tablets and phones are also clients depending on the circumstance. To be a server android tablet...

Re: Are there plans for an app for Android?

What type of cord will be required to connect midi to tablet? At a minimum you need an OTG cable. I've used my Android tablet with my MX-49 MIDI keyboard with an OTG cable with my Android tablet. OTG is short for "On The Go" and provides a traditional USB port for your USB MIDI cable to plug into. ...

Re: Roll Call!

Like I tell all my friends when I get the chance - enjoy your time with your family while you aren't going anywhere for the moment. It is awesome that your daughters are picking up piano, too! I tried to encourage my daughter to find an instrument. She chose the computer. The good folks at Pla...

Re: Ipad 2

Which Apple cord are you using? I have an iPad Air with the lightning connection type. I use the Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter and it works fine. I would guess if you have the 30 pin connection rather than the lightning connection that newer devices have that you could use the older Apple iP...
