Sustained notes not being picked up

Hi, congratulations with the new forum!

I have a small but quite nagging bug: Sustained notes are not picked up by the system properly (but the sound still plays).
This prevents me from ever getting a full score and is quite annoying.
I just started intermediate with chords, and the the bug is even more pronounced here. I cannot keep one chord over to the next section without at least one note being lost.

Do you have any plans to fix this in the near future?

I use the Roland A-49 keyboard.

It's not just you, we've had a few users run into this. It's definitely planned for 1.6. Here is the ticket for it:

I've been very impressed with my evaluation of Playground Sessions so far, so great job all round, but I have to agree with kidahl's comments above that this issue with tied/sustained notes not always being picked up is extremely frustrating and is beginning to impact my enjoyment of the product.

I see that you're targeting v1.6 for the fix. Do you have a planned release date yet?

I'm having the same trouble. Tied notes are not recognized. Also, I have to restart the program probably around 10 times before I can actually hear the count in which makes practicing and getting 100% accuracy very difficult. Today I sat for 20 minutes and not once was I able to hear the count in. I gave up in the end. I like the idea of this program but because of this the enjoyment is very reduced

The JIRA ticket http://jira.playgroundsessions.com:8080/browse/PG-227 lists 1.7 as the fix version. Can you confirm it is fixed in 1.6?

I can't guarantee that it will be ready by 1.6, but we're definitely shooting for 1.7 at the latest.

Installed on Macbook Pro running Yosemite with a Clavinova. I only tested it briefly but the issue appears to be resolved. I'll do more in-depth testing on the weekend and report back my results.
