Bluetooth Audio on MacBook Pro

Bluetooth Audio does not work properly for output. I have Bose Quiet Comfort 35 bluetooth headphones, and when I select those as the output for audio, the audio is very "slow" - the output frequency is not correct. That is, when things like the lesson count-in, 1-2-3-4 is output, is sounds like a "growl" with a very deep voice. It works properly when I select the MacBook internal audio output.
