Hi folks,

I'm using a MacBook Pro 2016 model running High Sierra and I cannot get PGS to recognise my Yamaha DGX-650.
With the old MacBook I only used a cable from aux in/out to the headphone jack on the MacBook and this worked fine. It won't work now though.
Does anyone know the best way for me to set this up? I'd like to order the right cables first time around Thanks in advance!

Your piano has a USB B connector so all you should need is a USB A - B cord (often referred to as "printer cable").

It is a bit of a mystery to me how you connected your previous computer through only the headphone jack TBH but that's beside the point here

Yes, it's a USB A-to-B cable that you'll need. You can find one on Amazon for cheap.
