Sustained notes not picked up in version 2

First the positive: I love the look and feel of the new version and especially the fine grained control over tempo. So much easier to work on slowly mastering difficult phrases.

And the negative: on both my Clavinova and RD-800 using a Roland UM-ONE MIDI adapter I still do not get sustained notes reliably registered. This makes the badges for getting perfect impossible to obtain.

Can you give any guidance on when this will be fixed?

Glad you are liking the new version. We will definitely start looking into that problem soon.

How soon is soon? This was one of my top two issues with Playground Sessions versus your competition. The other, fine grained manipulation of the tempo was enhanced in 2.0. I was expecting both to be fixed early in 2015 and I made a decision to renew my subscription based upon that assumption. By soon are you thinking in the next month, quarter, late 2015, early 2016? I don't know about other forum members but I consider this to be a significant fault in the product.

Anywhere there is a held chord in the left hand one of the notes in the triad will not get picked up. For example, the last four measures of Beyonce's Halo.

The same is still true for me too. Notes are not held on Lean On Me or I'll Be There. Hopefully this can really be sorted soon. 100% accuracy is impossible!

I too experience the problem of sustained or tied notes not being recognized. I have tried various midi settings but none have helped. For me it seems to happen on the bass staff but only when I play notes on BOTH the treble and bass staffs. If I play tied notes on bass staff only it works every time but when I add the treble staff notes if fails about half the time. Very frustrating. I use song "Falling Slowly" rookie version for testing. Playground version 2.0.141.
