Looping parts of lessons throws timing of background track.

I'm on 5 finger position C, lesson 5 out of 7.
I'm trying to loop the last half of the arrangement, but when I do, the background song and metronome do not start on beat... the whole arrangement is off unless it plays from the start.

I'm seeing this as well. Very unfortunate as it removes a way of judging how you're playing the segment.

I have the same issue, I have to switch off the accompaniment to practice, which is not ideal.
