Hey

I am in the middle of a battle (with smiles and notes, don't worry), trying to learn ave maria (schubert) intermediate.

I have a few remarks / questions

do you have advice on how to play this? I find it extremely difficult that the bass and the melody have two differents rythms. In the bootcamp lessons it is much easier. Do you think it is still manageable?

Those chords have the same name but different notes. Is it expected ?!

Could someone explain me why there are only 3 notes in this dominant seventh? (I am almost done with intermediate bootcamp so maybe it comes up in advanced bootcamp).
On the internet I always see a Eb on top (see here) http://www.pianochord.org/f7.html

As you can see in the picture below, the notation for chord Bb/F is not properly located.

Not much happening here ....

My conclusion is that the piece of music is not well suited for intermediate level.

So I bought another one (Schubert Serenade intermediate); here again, dominant 7 (taught at advanced level) with 3 notes, a lot of symbols not taught anywhere in the bootcamp...

I am disappointed.

Can you provide the measure numbers for the Bb/F chord?

You need to look at the full measure to get the entire chord. The F7 chord has F A and Eb in the left hand and C is played in the right hand. Same thing is applied for the E half diminished chord.

Hello Thomas,
thank you for your response.

It is the first and second one.

About the rythm being different for each hand... yeah, it's hard! I struggled very much to lean this piece, but it's doable. You have to practice and practice and after a while you'll get good at it. There's no way around it. Now a days I can play the advance version quite well. Keep practicing it, it's worth it!
