Tempo Problem w/ Rookie-Easy "Another Day in Paradise"

I am a rookie piano learner, but an experienced musician. I started learning the Rookie-Easy version of Phil Collins' "Another Day in Paradise." During the first few simple sections (1-6) I noticed odd timing of the backing track, and note placement errors in my playing. As I got to sections 7 & 8, the backing track seemed to be really out of synch with the note-tracking scroll bar. The backing track started to become a terrible, out-of-synch distraction -- with odd, out-of-time clicks from the click track. To test, I had the app "auto-play" the left hand -- and the notes were terribly out-of-synch with the backing track. This became such a distraction that I gave up on the song. Everything (i.e. a number of courses) else has worked great during my current practice session. It just seems to be this song. Hopefully this can be corrected -- or if it's my system (Windows 10), you can help me correct the issue. Thanks!
