Turn off accompaniment when learning a new song

Post by draco2023a » Fri Jul 08, 2016 1:42 am

I was on skype with my son watching him practice. He was trying to learn a new song, but I noticed he had the accompaniment playing :/

The accompaniment is a great feature but when one is learning a new song it is probably best to turn it off as you want to be able to hear all the nuances in each note you play which the other instruments can mask.

I guess it varies from person to person. I know some people prefer to use the accompaniment as a metronome. However, if they want to be able to hear and focus on everything they're playing, then playing with no music in the background is definitely a good approach.

You can turn it off using one of the icons next to the metronome.
