I am curious why it has taken so long to implement a ‘Search’ feature in the store. The logical way to store the songs is in a database and implementing a search in a database is trivial using SQL statements. I know I can search from the home page store, but it certainly would be more handy to search from the app.

We definitely agree that the size of our music library has reached a place where 'search' functionality will be very useful. It's a key feature for us that we're developing a plan against. Although we cannot give you a specific timeline we can assure you this is something we will be rolling out in the future. Please continue to let us know what features would improve your experience. We take them all seriously and do our best to implement the features that will help everyone.
