Supplemental Piano Practice?

Post by SouthStreet » Sat Sep 07, 2019 8:41 am

Hello,

I have not been with Playground sessions long.
Not having a traditional teacher makes me anxious, as I have no one to ask questions.

Do we need additional piano lessons?
Chord books or scale books?

Are chords and scales important to practice, I've not seen them mentioned in the lessons so far.
It seems they would be good to warm up with each day before beginning practice.

Is there a good way to practice these along with general lessons that a teacher would lay out but I don't know due to not having a traditional teacher?

Thanks

Hi there,

Thanks for the post! Playground does have Chords and Scales courses available for unlock. They are "locked" by default to make sure that the beginning pianist is ready for them, then they unlock once you play through some rookie boot camp lessons and songs.

Let me know if you have any other questions.
