I just started rookie lesson 39 and the video at the beginning says a dotted weekend would have 3 days. David Sides ends the video with the send off "Have a great dotted weekend!"
This is a crazy and delightful coincidence, because Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. day, a national holiday, and I have it off work. That means today truly is the start of a dotted weekend!
