Stars dissapear

Please can someone explain how song play through ratings are applied. For example, I played a song a couple of days ago at 93% and recieved 3 stars. I played the same song again today, got a 90% rating and 2 stars, and now that is what it shows. So, do you lose your higher rating and stars if you play it again but not as well?

What you're experiencing is the same thing I have seen. So, once I achieve three stars on a song, I do all my refreshing and reviewing using the "Full Song" segment rather than the "Performance" one.
