Thanks for the kind words Although, I don't think, it's posted yet, the third video is still sitting on 1 view (the first two are in the 70-80 range). Will see, how it fares Based on the latest mail, they will finish the piece on the intermediate/advanced track and will advice the rookies to continue on that as well (it is the same score, the only difference is pacing, and with PGS you can anyways go as fast/slow as you want).

It features the GH3 key action from Yamaha. This action sits around middle to low end of Yamaha’s technology.

The GH3 key action uses actual hammers behind each key to simulate a more realistic feeling. The weight of the hammers are graded. As a result, the bass is heavier and the tremble is lighter, just like an acoustic piano.

One thing about the GH3 action is that it is definitely on the heavy side. The forces needed to press the keys down are significantly more compares to key actions from competing brands. This is generally a bad thing unless you are specifically looking for some heavy action to build up your finger strength.

I was looking for a beginner piano, even if towards the top of the entry level, because I knew that I will be using it for a loooong time. I have some background for my fingers and hands: did some buildering and been working with a PC-keyboard for over a decade now. Although I am left-handed, I mostly struggle with my ring finger and pinky on my left hand. Right hand comes along pretty OK. The Hanon exercises are a very nice workout and man o man did my fingers, hands, and arms hurt at the beginning!

Wow... this was a long haul. Recording the full song took many takes, and I also missed on the focus. Well... still, hopefully it's enjoyable to some extent. The text above was what I felt, when I played the different phrases.

Faster does not mean it's better by any means, especially for such a classical piece that can be played in a million different ways. I just wanted to play without a metronome and this is what I ended up with. Apparently my internal clock is ticking fast
