Starting in the Middle

Sometimes I have trouble with an exercise in the middle or near the end. I find that to practice it I have to play through the whole piece just to get to the bit I want to practice. Wondering if there is a way of starting in the middle.

Hello Adrien,

If you are using the desktop version, you can use your mouse and select only the measures that you want to play. You can also select the loop tool so that you play that section of music over and over without stopping.

The ability to select specific measures to play is not available yet in the current iPad version of the app.

If you need more info, sent a quick email to:

support@playgroundsessions.com

And get into the support system, they will be able to help you.

I was told they are working on an update but they could not give me a time table as to when it would be available. I was initially very disappointed with that answer because It's much more challenging when you have to start again from the beginning. My biggest complaint however is the the inabilty to scale up the display. I have an ipad air and the fonts can be difficult to read from time to time.

Hello,

We do not want to post a timetable due to the many issues and delays that can occur in developing an app. I CAN tell you that we are currently in the internal testing phase, meaning I am constantly getting a new version of the app to test for any bugs, glitches or Quality of life issues. Every version of the app feels more complete, and I am really excited for it to be released to public when everything is finished. It really does look amazing. The newest update to the PGS app is our number 1 priority at this time, so we hope to get it out to you as soon as we can.
