More metronome subdivisions for low tempo songs

Post by riverkeys » Mon Jul 12, 2021 1:00 pm

I'm working on Prelude in C which has been a great course so far - but the metronome isn't very useful at such low tempos (<36 BPM). Would it be possible to add more subdivisions to the metronome so its more useful in such situations?

Hello riverkeys,

In the desktop version the metronome can be set for anything from 1 to 256.

Could you give an example or more details on what trouble you are having?

That's normal. Playing anything below 33BPM won't feel like a "connected" song. Playing below 33BPM will sometimes feel like hitting random notes. It's hard but you'll need to work to get each passage of a song to 33BPM. After that's it should be easier to speed up the track.

Just adding myself to the list of users that would greatly appreciate the option to choose smaller subdivisions for the metronome clicks. Eight-notes would be particularly useful.

Thanks
