Forum Auto Logout after 1 Minute

The forum auto logs you out after 1 or 2 minutes. I'm sure a lot of people have been put off posting here after they've spent 5 minutes typing a post to only hit click Submit and to be redirected to a login screen and all their work has disappeared.
The current work around is to make a copy of your post's text before hitting Submit. But that's truly an awful situation if you forget.
Anyway, I don't know why this has never been updated or addressed in the past. It might be too little too late at this point, as this forum is basically dead.
