Feature proposal : Grouping songs on songs selection

I currently have a fairly large collection of songs in my library and I have to admit that navigating it becomes a bit of a problem.
I would like to suggest being able to group songs or create folders to be able to navigate lists of songs easier.

That's an interesting idea. How are you imagining them being grouped? You're referring to grouping multiple levels of one song together?

I imagine it like a tree based folder structure. Creating directories depending on your own preferences.
This way I could hide away old songs I don't play any more or the ones I am intending to play in the future from the ones I am a currently working on.
Just to reduce the clutter.

EDIT. I guess grouping same songs of different levels could be part of it, but am thinking a bit wider here.

Have you tried list mode? In there, you can sort by a variety of options.

Hello Sean,
Am afraid that sort by Title, Arist, Level , Type and ... Last Played (doesn't even work...) isn't quite enough for me.
If the Last Played section didn't actually show the song difficulty and worked , maybe it wouldn't have been such a big deal for me.
I feel some sort of hierarchical structure (like a tree) with user named sections would be ideal.
