USB Interface or Midi Only?

Hey guys, couple questions. I have a Yamaha keyboard that just out Midi and 1/4" outputs. My question is can I use either the Rocksmith 1/4" to USB cable or a Lexicon Alpha USB interface? Or must it be MIDI like Synthesia?

Both the Rocksmith cable and Lexicon alpha are audio to USB..Midi is a whole different animal, so neither of those are going to work for you. What you need is a midi to usb connector http://www.amazon.com/Neewer-Profession ... idi+to+usb
