Question about bookcamp lesson numbering

Anyone know how lessons are numbered on the dashboard? It seems different from the actual lesson listing. For example, on the dashboard it says "X of 53 rookie lessons completed" but on the actual listing of lessons, there are 78 rookie lessons. Not a big deal, but curious.
