Rookie question

I'm in Rookie lesson about counting music in 2/2 and 4/2 playing simple melodies with 2 hands. At this point I've learned the notes but when i play I mainly use the numbers for fingers - i put my fingers in the correct position and then let the fingers follow the note durations and finger numbers. The system hasn't auto turned off the finger numbers for me meaning it's ok to do this at this point is it? Will the system eventually teach me to play without the finger numbers or should I go back to the simplest lessons and force myself to play without the finger numbers?

Hello illia - If you are at the point where you are asking that question then you are ready to turn that tool off, and read the actual notes off the staff. Try it out and see how it works. You can always turn it back on. You will need this skill as you proceed forward, so best get it out of the way now.
