New and have a timing problem

I am very new to Playground Sessions, nonetheless, I didn't have any problem getting started... till I got to my first practice. I am using a Yamaha DGX203, and an iPad Air, connected by USB and a Lightening Connector. It seems that my keyboard is lagging the lesson. Is it something I did? It sure makes it difficult to keep time!
