Rests during practice sessions

I don't know if this is possible with the technology, but I notice that when I'm practicing I have a tendency to hold down a key through a rest (particularly the left hand, and as a rookie there's often loooooong rests ). The program doesn't score this as "red." The program seems to know if I lift too soon on a tied note, but not if I don't lift during rests.

I love this program and the lessons. With the accompaniments, it's nice to actually play along to songs that I know and have it sound somewhat musical, even if my part is just a tiny little bit.
